Hi, I'm Cynthia, an Art Psychotherapist and founder of Inner Light Art Therapy Services in Lane Cove, Sydney. I bring a lifelong love of the creative arts and a sincere commitment to helping people find their way back to themselves, even on hard days.

To support my clients at the highest level, I offer a holistic, person-centred, evidence-based foundation that brings together science, creativity, and compassion to meet each person where they are.

As a member of the Australia, New Zealand and Asia Creative Arts Therapies Association (ANZACATA), I hold myself to the highest professional standards. Beyond my credentials, what matters most to me is creating a space where you feel genuinely heard, seen, and safe to grow.

I've had the privilege of working across a range of settings, including disability support, mental health services, aged care, and with neurodivergent clients, in both studio environments and, when needed, a person’s home.

To support a customised therapeutic approach, I work with the individual or, if required, carers and other associated professionals to conduct an initial assessment and determine the goals and needs each person wants to achieve through art therapy. I reassess throughout the process to see whether these goals are being met or need adjusting.

Using art-based techniques, we gently explore emotions, support self-expression, and encourage wellbeing and healing in a natural, meaningful way.
